Mohammed gave us a great tour around Tangier. He was knowledgeable and customized the tour to our interests. His English was excellent as well. The driver was very safe and courteous. He realized we were Jewish and made sure that we got to see the beautiful synagogues in the area. That was very special. We particularly enjoyed seeing the kindness to animals and tolerance of all religious there. My only complaint is that we didn’t have any menu items to choose from for lunch. As we did request, spicy Moroccan food on our form, needless to say, the CousCous was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Our day trip from Seville to Tangier, expertly arranged by Tangier Excursions, was an absolute delight. Our guide, Abu, made the tour an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped off the ferry, Abu’s warm hospitality and extensive knowledge of Tangier’s history and culture captured our attention.

Abu’s storytelling brought Tangier to life as we explored the bustling medina, meandering through its narrow alleys filled with vibrant shops and the enticing aromas of local cuisine. His insights into the city’s rich past and its blend of influences were both informative and engaging.

We were treated to breathtaking views from the vantage point of the Kasbah, and Abu’s anecdotes added a personal touch that truly enhanced our understanding of this beautiful city. He skillfully guided us through the labyrinthine streets, ensuring we didn’t miss any hidden gems along the way.

After our private day trip in Tangier with Abu, we agreed that everyone visiting should know what a great experience he provided.

Meeting us at the ferry, Abu drove us to places we would have never found on our own and shared his knowledge of history, culture, education, and lifestyles. From the heart of the city through beautiful parks and communities and out to the ocean we discovered Tangier.

Then we parked and wandered past homes, ancient walls, mosques, museums and shops along the stone paths and narrow roads in the Kasbah and Central Markets. Abu consulted with us on what we wanted to include in the day (I really did want to ride a camel on the beach, to drink mint tea and have a henna design on my hand – and we so we did). We could not have been happier.

It was a day we will never forget!

We were met by Mohamed as we got off the ferry from Tarifa and escorted to a van with a driver. This was great because it enabled Mohamed to focus his attention on introducing us to Tangier. Mohamed pointed out some of the luxury celebrity housing on our way to our camel ride. It’;s a very touristy thing to do but I’m very glad I did it. It’s very different from riding a horse and the experience of the camel getting to its feet and then later getting back down is special. We were taken to breakfast where we had mint tea and camel cheese on some very good bread. Camel cheese is quite mild and very good. Mohamed gave us a thorough tour in the time we had. When it was time to go he escorted us through customs to the front of the ferry line. We were the first ones on for the return trip. April 2023

We contacted Tangier Excursions after deciding we’d like to try an overnight stay in Morocco whilst on holiday in Spain. Moha responded immediately giving us loads of confidence, recommending what we should do and then very swiftly organised absolutely everything for us. We were met by a driver in a very smart Mercedes van at Tangier port, tour guides showed us around and we had a wonderful overnight stay in the blue city of Chechaouen. An amazing experience and so straight forward thanks to Moha! I’d highly recommend Tangier Excursions.

We had a great day trip exploring Tangier. Our guide, Abu, met us at the port and he and a driver took us all around the city, This is the absolute best way to see the highlights of Tangier in only one day. Abu was very informative and his English was great. We enjoyed all the stops along the way, especially the camel ride on the beach and the delicious Moroccan lunch overlooking the Mediterranean. We stopped by the Caves of Hercules and the view was breathtaking. The walking tour through the city was a great experience, hearing the call for prayer that is done five times each day, seeing the snake charmer, visiting the markets and seeing the people of Tangier in their colorful clothing going about their daily business. The day trip to Tangier with Abu as our guide was definitely worth every penny and one of the highlights of our vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We had a FANTASTIC DAY! I can not say enough nice things about Abu and Reda (the driver). Abu was so knowledgeable, friendly and shared so much with us. He put up with our hundreds of questions and answered them all. The entire day was very smooth from the ride to Tarifa and return. I know I asked so many questions, not ever being in Morocco I wanted to be complete (I have been to some countries where it did not work out well). The experience was was wonderful and the three kids (adult kids) had an experience they will never forget.

Tangier Excursions is the consummate professional tour operator. Moha was very prompt, responding to all emails and taking care of the ferry tickets from Tarifa, and had a car waiting when we arrived, making everything simple. For the day-long tour, our guide was Mohamed and the gentleman was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the country. We did a car tour in the morning (very nice) and a walking tour around the city in the afternoon. There were various stops for food and drinks, all of which were quite good. For first-time visitors to Morocco like ourselves, it opened our eyes to the beauty of the area. Thank you Moha! We will be back in Morocco some time again!.

Our driver, Youssef, from Tangier Excursions took us for a great day trip to Chefchaouen. The car was clean, nice and spacey, which was great for the long drive. We met our guide, Naima, who showed us around the blue city. We had an enjoyable day and we recommend it to everyone!

We absolutely recommend the cultural food tour of Tangier. Mohammed was knowledgeable, funny, and a great tour guide. We tried so much food and learnt a lot about the history of Morocco and culture….this tour was the highlight of our journey!!!
