The alluring Meknes and Fes, former Imperial Capitals of Morocco cannot fail to haunt the souls of its visitors, be prepared to be taken back to Medieval Times. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, explore the Desert Area & Tafilalet Oasis before embarking on a lifetime journey in the Sahara Desert on a camel and spend the night under the stars in the heart of the desert. Visit the enchanting Kasbahs that are shrouded in mystery; however, our mission is to unveil to Moroccan history, culture, customs, traditions and much more.
Explore the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah that have been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Films including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Prince of Persia, and The Kingdom of Heaven and may others. The guided tour of Marrakech is another highlight that cannot be missed with its unique ambiance, culture and lifestyle.
DAY 1: ARRIVE IN CASABLANCA - RABAT
Upon arrival at the Mohamed V International Airport of Casablanca, your English-speaking private driver/guide – through his eyes, you will discover what Morocco has to offers – will meet and greet you before assisting you with luggage to the well-maintained SUV. Drive to the city center of Casablanca where you will have a tour of the impressive Hassan II Mosque before heading to Rabat where we will spend our first night.
- Please note that it does actually depend on the time of your arrival since if it’s early during the day, then we may adjust the itinerary by providing additional services within Casablanca with no extra fees like visiting the Impressive Hassan II Mosque, drive through the Ain Diab Corniche and visit the popular Ricks Café. However, if it’s late we will then schedule such activities for the next day.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT – ASILAH - TANGIER
Begin your walking tour from the Oudayas Kasbah (small fortress) that was built initially by the Almoravid warriors to use as a base to organize attacks in Andalusia, then was rebuilt and expanded by the Almohads in the 12th century when the Sultan Yacoub El-Mansour (the Victorious) was planning to move the capital from Marrakech to Rabat.
Visit the impressive Hassan Tower, which forms a small portion of a great project of the largest mosque in the Islamic World; however, it did not come into existence because the Almohad Sultan passed away after three years of construction. Enjoy the breathtaking intricate motif designs within the white marble buildings of the late King Mohamed V Mausoleum.

Continue on the track, after lunch, further north to the serene and tranquil Asilah with its whitewashed walls, which display an excellent range of paintings that have been skillfully stamped by international artists who are being invited annually to participate at the International Festival of Art. Enjoy the stunning views from the ramparts over the Atlantic Ocean before driving to Tangier, which is our final destination of the day.

DAY3: TANGIER – TETOUAN - CHEFCHAOUEN- GUIDED TOUR OF CHEFCHAOUEN
After having breakfast in your Riad, spend the first half day exploring Tangier from the outside and inside covering the Cape Spartel where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet, and the pre-historic Hercules Caves before embarking on a nice Tangier guided walking tour (small fortress) that is panoramically perched uphill overlooking the vibrant Medina and Gibraltar.
Meander around the authentic Medina with its vibrant Souks (markets) that are organized into different sections before continuing on the track to the almost intact Medina of Tetouan.
- EXPERIENCE THE BEST OF TETOUAN
Unlike most Medinas (old towns) of Morocco, the Medina of Tetouan remains smaller but has been almost untouched aside few buildings that were saved from dilapidation when it was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Tetouan was expanded by the expelled aristocratic families from Andalusia by the Spanish Reconquista, a fact that can be seen from the wide streets and big buildings that have marble fountains, carved ceilings, and groves planted with orange trees. Wander through its alleys, and vibrant small markets before continuing on the track to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains.

DAY 4: FULL-DAY EXPLORING CHEFCHAOUEN
After having breakfast in your Riad, you will spend the day exploring this magical town that is nestled at the feet of two mountains with the shape of “goat’s horns” after which Chefchaouen was named because in Tamazight Language “Chaouen” means “Horns”.
You will be captivated by the prevalent blue color with which it is painted; meander through the beautifully painted streets with its shutters and wrought iron windows to the natural spring of Ras El-Ma where you can spot women washing clothes and carpets, and most of the time boys play soccer nearby.
Your private tour guide will give you an insight into the history behind the foundation of Chefchaouen as a Kasbah (small fortress) to fight against the Portuguese invasion.
You will visit this Kasbah which is located at the very heart of the Old Medina before ending your guided walking tour at the famous Utta El-Hammam Square. You may want to have lunch at one of the small restaurants overlooking the Kasbah and Mosque while watching the passers-by.
In the late afternoon, the Medina of Chefchaouen gets vibrant with its small shops selling all kinds of stuff from fruits, vegetables, crafts, electronics, clothes, and much more. You may want to have another taste of this unique lifestyle on your own before you get back to your Riad.

DAY 5: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES - FES
After having breakfast in your Riad, you will be picked up by your private driver to continue on the track further south by crossing the spectacular Rif Mountains from where you get to the popular Roman Ruins of Volubilis. This archaeological site is located in the very heart of fertile land planted with olive trees and orchards at the feet of the Zerhoun Mountain. It reveals a rich history of the Romans that occupied the north of Morocco and therefore powerfully influenced the lifestyle of the Amazigh people.
The archaeological local tour guide will unveil the mystery of this site before continuing to Meknes, which is one of the most important cities in Morocco It is one of the four imperial capitals that witnessed its glory and golden age during the reign of the Alaouite Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century.
Begin your tour of Meknes from the beautiful gate of Bab Al-Mansour (Victorious) that overlooks the Hedim Square, which Sultan Moulay Ismail used for army parades and exposition. Visit the Sultan’s Mausoleum with its exquisite geometric designs depicting a mix of Moroccan and Andalusian architectures. Drive through the walls of the Royal Palace to the popular granaries that are used for storing grains, and stables for looking after the famous 12,000 royal horses before taking the highway to Fes, which is our final destination today.

DAY 6: FULL-DAY EXPLORING FES
After having breakfast in your Riad, you will have a fully guided & purely cultural day tour of Fes with a professional local tour guide whose knowledge about the history and lifestyle of the city is outstanding. Drive uphill to catch the panoramic view of Fes El-Bali (Old Medina), which is one of the most car-free urban centers in the world.
Stretch your legs by the Mellah (former Jewish Quarter) where you will get an insight into the Jewish Community that settled in Fes before moving to Israel in 1948. It’s possible to visit the synagogue and take nice shots by the bronze gates of the Royal Palace.
Embark on a guided walking tour of this magical Medina that has gained popularity worldwide due to the exotic experience it offers. You will be taken back to medieval times and unlike other Moroccan Medina, the only means of transport are donkeys and mules to the extent that some of the biggest worldwide brands had to purchase their own mules to distribute the products inside.
Visit the tanneries where leather is being tanned using traditional methods while taking some amazing pictures from overlooking the terrace. Meander around the intricate alleyways and visit Museums, Souks, and Shrines.

DAY 7: FES - MIDDLE ATLAS - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - MERZOUGA DESERT
After having breakfast in your Riad, you will head to the Sahara Desert crossing the lush Middle Atlas Mountains after having a pause for refreshment in Ifrane, the cleanest and Switzerland version town of Morocco.
The Middle Atlas is blessed with cedar forests that have been protected by UNESCO hosting a colony of Barbary Apes, which you can spot beside the road. After lunch in Midelt, you continue on the track further south through the Ziz Gorges and Palm Valley before reaching the dunes of Erg Chebbi that mark the end of today’s journey.
Upon arrival at Auberge de Sud (your hotel at the feet of the sand dunes), a warm welcome with mint tea while absorbing the exceptional beauty of the Sahara Desert.
The first thing that comes to every visitor’s mind is how outstandingly prevalent silence is forcing the soul to liberate itself from the burdens of life. Enjoy a nice dinner served by the pool followed by a percussion of drummers before spending some time contemplating the stars that illuminate the horizons.

DAY 8: EXPLORE THE DESERT AREA & CAMEL TREK
After having breakfast in your Auberge, you will spend the day exploring the desert area and the palm oasis of Tafilalet starting with an interesting visit to the local aqueducts (Khettaras) – a sophisticated system of irrigation that consists of underground channels to convey water from afar to the oasis.
Continue on the track through the village of Merzouga to the Khamila Village where most of its residents have dark complexion because they were originally brought as slaves from Sub-Saharan land. They are known for the Gnawa Music that consists of drums and castanets, and which they happily perform to visitors.
If our day expedition coincides with the traditional weekly market that is used to taking place in Rissani, then you will have the chance to explore the Souk, which is organized into sections including dates, spices, vegetables, and much more.
In the afternoon, we drive back to the hotel to saddle up our camels for a journey to the camp that is located in the heart of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a nice dinner under the stars before ending the day with a nice sleep in the tent or under the stars.

DAY 9: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY
Early wake up in the morning to attend the majestic view of the sunrise over the dunes, then get back to the hotel by camel for a refreshing breakfast and to take a shower.
Drive to Dades Valley from Erfoud, Tinejdad, and Todra Gorges where you will stretch your legs through these impressive canyons that have attracted mountain climbers from all over the world as well as locals seeking cooler when it gets boiling in the summer.
After lunch, continue on the track to the Dades Valley where you will be assisted with luggage and formalities at the hotel. You may want to have a swim at the pool, relax, or stretch your legs down to the village of Boumalne Dades.

DAY 10: DADES VALLEY – VALLEY OF ROSES – SKOURA - OUARZAZATE
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, continue on the track further west through the road of one thousand Kasbahs. Form an idea behind the production of roses and the extracted products like rose water, soap, lotions, crèmes, and much more at the Valley of Roses. Visit the popular and well-preserved Kasbah of Amredil in Skoura before including a gentle hike at the Palmeraie where you will visit a local family and learn about the local history.
In the late afternoon, drive to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) where you will visit another Kasbah in the very heart of the city and was constructed by the Glaoui family who controlled the caravan route and with which they made a good fortune.

DAY 11: OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH
After having breakfast in your Riad, head to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains after visiting the Atlas Film Studios (Optional) that have played a major role in filming a multitude of both national and international movies and documentaries.
Ait Benhaddou is the focal point of attraction for the day; as a result, you can’t miss exploring and wandering through the alleys of this dramatic village, which has been used by renowned producers in the field of cinema, as a special backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia and many others.
After lunch, continue on the track following a less-traveled trail leading to the dramatic castle of Telouet, which powerfully depicts the glory and greatness of the Pasha El-Glaoui who could list himself as the wealthiest man in the world. Even though unfortunately, most of this structure is crumbling, a fact does not give you a margin to laughter but to contemplation and astonishment.
Visit the reception area and you will immediately be captivated by the geometric motifs, stucco, zellij tiles, and woodcarvings. Spacious rooms that are adorned differently reflect the power and wealth this man could get to the extent that he acquired the name of “The Lord of the Atlas and the South”.
Drive back to Marrakech through the spectacular Pass of Tizi n’Tichka and en route we will include stops for pictures and refreshments.

DAY 12: FULL-DAY EXPLORING MARRAKECH
Today, you will be having a full guided tour of this magical city of Marrakech starting with a nice drive through the wide boulevards of the Ville Nouvelle (New Town) that was initially built by the French when Morocco was under French rule from 1912 to 1956.
Visit the botanical gardens of Majorelle that took the painter Jacques Majorelle more than forty years of passion and dedication to come up with this unique masterpiece that outscores all of his paintings. Stretch your legs at the Menara Garden with its olive trees and orchards before embarking on a guided walking tour of the vibrant Medina of this unique city.
Begin at the Koutoubia Mosque, which is the landmark of Marrakech to the extent that it can be easily seen from different directions (by law, any building does not have to be higher than the minaret).
This Almohad masterpiece of architecture was built in the 12th century and used as a model for constructing numerous religious buildings worldwide. Visit the Saadian Tombs that are located at the Kasbah Quarter where your tour guide will share the history behind the Saadien Dynasty that ruled Morocco in the 15th and 16th centuries. The Bahia Palace is another attraction that reflects Moroccan and Moorish Architecture with its Riads, fountains, and gardens.
Wander around the intricate alleyways with its vibrant Souks that are organized into different sections including leather, spices, olives, clothing, vegetables, crafts, and much more. You will end your tour at the Square of Jemaa El Fna, which is the focal point of Marrakech that turns into a carnival of shows and exhibitions in which musicians, magicians, snake charmers, storytellers, fortunetellers, and acrobats give performances to the public along with the vibrant food stalls offering Moroccan delicacies.

DAY 13: MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA
After having breakfast in your Riad/Hotel, you may want to spend the first half day on your own maybe to further explore the Medina, do some shopping, go to a Hammam, or just relax at your accommodation.
At 1 pm, head west to the Essaouira “Wind City of Africa” which is at the Atlantic Coastline. An atmospheric fishing port with fortifications to protect its Medina from the strong waves being constructed according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture; however, it has retained a unique style and ambiance that inspired the hippies including Jimmy Hendrix who stayed here for some time.
The fortified Medina is easy to navigate and free of hassle compared to Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier. You may want to wander around its vibrant lanes, and sandy beach and visit the harbor.

DAY 14: ESSAOUIRA - CASABLANCA
Spend the first half day chilling out in this magical town, and then drive further north along the Atlantic Coastline crossing Oualidia, which is known as the “Romantic Town” and El-Jadida was built by the Portuguese before getting to Casablanca.
