Tarifa, the winding city & known for windsurfing, lies across the Strait of Gibraltar from Morocco. If you are driving down to Algeciras from the north of Spain & needing parking for your car, then you can leave it at Algeciras (20 Km from Tarifa) and catch the ferry coach that is offered for free by the ferry company.
Even though we offer the service of buying ferry tickets prior in advance; however, you can do so at the ferry terminal or ferry offices. Please do it later than 45 minutes prior to departure. IMMIGRATION & CUSTOMS:
Once you get your tickets, you are required to collect the boarding passes from the ferry terminal or ticket office in town. As soon as you board the ferry to Tangier, head straight to the front of the vessel to find the passport control desk. There will be normally announcement in multilingual languages but if you don’t hear them, you only ask any of the ferry staff & they will guide where the passport control desk. Please beware that failure to have your passport stamped by the Moroccan police will result in extensive delays upon arrival at the Tangier port.
